Back to the Future 2 was one of the last great movies of the eighties. Released in 1989,much of the movie takes place in the then-distant 2015, aka: four years from now. Besides the hoverboard, the coolest future gadget depicted in the film was Marty McFly's pair of Nike Shoes with power laces; and now 22 years later Nike is making them for real.
The Nike Air Mag is an almost exact recreation of the prop shoes from the movie with one glaring omission: no power laces. This was confirmed in the promotional video for the shoes below, which sees Christopher Lloyed reprising role as Doc Brown.

And although not including power laces on a shoe that was only cool because it had power laces may seem like selling a hoverboard that doesn't hover, you have to remember that its all for charity. All proceeds from the sale of the shoes will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Besides, they do light up!
If you want to buy a pair you''ll have to hoof it over to eBay to bid on them. You''ll need to act fast and a fat wallet, too; Nike is only making 1500 pair and some sizes are currently upto $8,000. You could buy a used Delorean for that.
